After gaining experience processing firewood in the late 1970s, Nathan Lewis (Founder) went to work for Davey Tree Surgery in January 1982. For the next two and a half years, he developed his skills as a climber, certified line clearance, tree trimmer, and crew leader.
In the summer of 1984, he founded Lewis Tree Service and began to build the company. In 1993 with approximately (7) employees, Nathan became a Certified Arborist. Through hard work and dedication to quality and eagerness to learn the company began to grow. Lewis Tree Service, INC.  became incorporated in 2003.
Today Lewis Tree Service Inc. has grown to approximately 37 employees, including four certified arborists, and produced five million in annual sales. Over the years with the help of the management team, Lewis Tree Service Inc. has acquired the knowledge, and skills to develop systems to best serve our customers with quality solutions for their tree care needs. For pruning and other tree preservation methods, Lewis Tree Service Inc. focuses on adherence to industry standards and safety requirements.
